Series VTB Vertical Tubeless Boilers

The York-Shipley Global Series VTB design provides for exceptionally long life cycle service particularly suited for continuous operation low output process applications. Due to extremely robust construction, the Series VTB, together with its compact space saving vertical design, offers an economical solution for various industrial-commercial-institutional (ICI) facility requirements.

The Series VTB provides the distinct advantage of an integral condensate storage tank. Coupled with factory mounted, pre-piped and wired feedwater pump assembly, the Series VTB is furnished as a complete self-contained steam or hot water generating system.

The Series VTB is available with LPG, Natural Gas, CS #2 Fuel Oil or combination fuel fired with optional low emission fuel burning equipment, suitable for use in high altitude applications and offers compliance to such standards including UL, CSD, FM Global, GAP and construction for use in NEMA classified indoor or outdoor non-hazardous locations.

Available in 7 to 30 BHP (68 to 294 kW), all units are designed and constructed in accordance with ASME SCI 150 PSIG (1,034 kPa), however, are available in accordance with ASME SCIV 15 PSIG (104 kPa) Steam and 30 to 150 PSIG (206 to 1,103 kPa) – maximum 250°F (121°C) Hot Water service.

Skid package options include incorporation of water softener, chemical feed and blowdown separator devises and controls.

High pressure steam boilers are constructed in accordance with ASME Section I ‘Rules for Construction of Power Boilers’ at standard design pressure of 150 PSIG (1,034 kPa).
Low pressure steam and hot water boilers are constructed in accordance with ASME Section IV ‘Rules for Construction of Heating Boilers’ limited to design steam pressure of 15 PSIG (103 kPa) and hot water service of 30 to 150 PSIG (206 to 1,034 kPa) – maximum 250°F (121°C).
